Thread regarding Cargill layoffs

Entity crisis for Cargill- tarrifs?!

Seems someone cursed Cargill really badly.
With tarrifs, will they survive? If they do, how much they lose?

If you think the CFO is bossing Brian around, I have some bad news for you.

Brian hand picked every single person on his team. Brian is completely accountable for any and all poor leadership happening and finance and HR are not running this company. Go back to the many townhalls where his team is constantly looking for his reassurance and to make sure that ‘dad’ is proud of them. Brian is in charge and if you can’t see that, you may be delusional.

Our CEO is at the center of two price fixing scandals - one of which has cost the company 32.5 million. Our CFO is so fixated on “benchmarking” and has failed to address the embarrassingly basic issues of not being able to pay our vendors on time which is costing us business. Our CSO is known to have complaints documented with HR but is still in the position. I may have kept my role but I am looking elsewhere. The downfall of this company will not be external factors but having leadership that fails to take any accountability.

Still dont get how this CFO was appointed? Comes from a company that had years and years of layoffs and poor performance… no surprise this is the strategy now at Cargill. What a tragedy that we are losing the essence of what made Cargill a great company to work for in years past.

Brian is not evil. He is cutting costs the way his CFO boss wants him to do. He is not in charge. Finance and HR run the company.

As long as Brian is the CEO, this company will never survive, he's an evil man. I mean really evil..

Funny how some of the favourites blue eye boys and girls (it’s an expression not stereotyping) always come up top but no one knows what they actually do talking a very good talk. These corporate beasts keep things vague on purpose and a their sense of self importance is sickening. Hope they all crash and burn you don’t thrive at Cargill unless you fit in this category

Old Cargill would have thrived on the tariff uncertainty. Let's see if the current leadership can handle the pressure. If only they hadn't just fired all the 20+ yrs of experience who would have known what to do.

I would like to see the tarrifs impact all those good for nothing leaders at the top who have milked the company for decades while providing zero actual leadership, courage, or care for their people. Karma’s coming for you!
