Thread regarding Crown Castle International Corp. layoffs

Do we know if layoffs are coming for sure or not?

Looks like most people are speculating but nobody knows for sure.

“Tower got hit hard in 2023. You fiber folks keep on keeping on.“

Yes, Towers in 2023, and Network got slammed last year. Both got caught up in the closing offices debacle.

With the current situation, imminent layoffs at Crown Castle are a given.

Hopefully, the 12 year Tower and Small Cell Agreement between TMO/CCI gets negotiated/transferred to EQT for the small cell portion.

TMO was a big small cell client and will continue to be for EQT. FYI TMO and EQT have an existing joint venture for fiber, room to grow for sure.

The Town Hall pretty much stated Towers wasn't doing a good job...it was coasting the last few years...if not churning...

Safe bet layoffs are happening in all three business units.

The most will be be in Fiber. Zayo is established..

Then it's a toss up, but most likely Towers would layoff more than EQT

EQT, being a startup would rather start fat and become efficient and layoff after the dust settles..they don't want to drop the ball on projects and pi-s off clients...supposedly they have a ton of funding and they want to grow...so think of it as overspending in th beginning and see how well it gets run...then layoff

Praise be
