Future of IT Employees in Low Income Countries at Shell

If you can retrieve information by talking to AI like an human, what is the need for IT employees at Shell in all low income countries? What benefit does the engineering department or other functions get from working with from working with low cost hubs like India when the ones who actually harvest energy can have all of their problems solved directly by talking with AI? Those middlemen support jobs should eliminated to reduce the bottom line, work loss due to time difference, and further compliance with US law and policy similar to using Gulf of America.

Yes I know one UK guy who is now a leader in IT in BLR, letter category. That is what is hard to find a local Indian guy for.
