Who Is Ready for Reviews?

It's that time again where everyone waits on pins and needles for the one on one to see how their raises are gonna be.. Have you done the work of many people? Yes.. Have you gone above and beyond all year? Yes.. Will you get the bare minimum for the yearly raise and contribution? Absolutely..

Yes, I just got my yearend review, 3 months after the end of the year. Not to mention, my manager didn't even give me a mid-year review. With that said, my manager dinged me on a couple of things which totally blindsided me as it totally came out of the blue. Then he proceeded to tell me that is why my increase is so low. Now how do you do that when you don't even review your employees, throughout the year. Typical BOCA cr-p management.

A 2% increase for a year that I worked harder than ever is unacceptable for an "effective" review. That' not even close to a fair cost of living. Thanks for nothing - enjoy what you get for me this year!!

So you get your full year 2024 review, already one quarter into the next year?

Not true on minimal increases. My team got the normal increases based on 2024 performances.

I heard about very minimal increases and not for all.

My review was just as normal as other years. Did the meeting, was told about the increase, and moved on.
