Thread regarding TransUnion layoffs

Incompetent management (executives)

Obviously Venkat is the core issue, but he is enabled by those above and next to him. He manages by fear (generally proven to not be productive in the long run), berates the teams that work for him, and lies about achievements. Throwing out stupid dates just leads to stress, quick options rather than solid plans, and eventually platforms that are ineffective and brittle. He claims that people don’t get fired for missing dates, but they do get yelled at, they feel ongoing stress, and no one believes they will not eventually be let go (if not for performance, but to save money by replacing with GCC resources). Really su-ks to try and do the right thing.

CC is the d-mbhead to believe and sell the idea of getting these NS company bought at premium. He made his money and rest vested with his contract renewed --he got nothing to lose.
Since CC advocated for VA to be CTO, he cannot change the tune now. This VA guy is category 5 mo--n, by any standard. He never dealt anything of this scale and criticality. All marketing and bravado, than substance. They are too deep into this sh-t, so they cannot shift the gears now, hence continuing to sell BS, despite they knowing its not gonna work. All these mo--ns are selling their stock like crazy, public info through insider's trading activity. They have nothing to lose.

You just noticing that? Incompetent management. TransUnion is DEI company. Didn't care it. Let's see lets promote an application person to director of network and live in Texas. Let's layoff her whole department and give her GCC. You not even in the same time zone so how are you directing GCC. A lot of promotions to indigenous people who don't even know how to direct or manage a team because they never had experience.
