I'm curious if anyone knows the long-term rehireability eligibility parameters, if any? Example, is there a maximum number of times you can be hired, leave the company on good terms , repeat, and still be eligible for rehire?

@dp+1jpnp2nrp - it's way easier to get an actual monetary raise by leaving and coming back. Leave for a year and come back with a nice 20-30% bump which will take you 10 years to get if you stay.
People come back because the work is easy (depending on org. definitely some terrible orgs at Dell) and pay/benefits are good enough at the I8/I9 level for the 20-30hrs of work someone puts in during the week.
I dont know the limit but I know a guy that left 2 times and came back 2 times. Lol he is a crazy person imo but if you are laid off and need work, it's easier to go to a place you have connections.
In the EMC era I knew someone who left the firm and returned three times. And I never understood why. He never seemed that talented. (Maybe he had personal dirt on some managers.)
I know of one person who left and returned at Dell, so it happens.
But the old advice, don’t leave a job unless you have a written offer in hand still stands.
"does that mean Sudhir"
If the current trend continues much longer I fully expect Sudhir and his buddy prikshit to be running the company.
Egads, does that mean Sudhir might come back?
Well, in ISG at least, we seem to have a revolving door policy. Welcoming back anyone silly enough to want to return, regardless of how poorly they performed.
