I mean for him to not offer severance would be going against what most large companies do. I know he likes confrontation but it may, in the future, prevent him from hiring good people. Nobody wants to work at a place that has a history of not giving severance. I know it's not mandatory, but it's usually provided. It may not be great, but it's something
