Re-orgs are hardly driven by VP's let alone directors. That statement is beyond clueless.
Reorgs exist so that VP’s and Directors can parade that they are doing something. You see the same cyclical stuff over and over and it’s always sold as something new and improved when really they are just injecting unnecessary chaos into the day to day operations.
The real id--tic thing is that they whine about dollars. How much time and money was wasted on this ridiculous re-org ?
And what will it do really.
Make VP’s and Directors feel like it make better sense for business?
Think of the last one just March 2024.
Will be just fine til the next re-org in 2026.
Mo--ns that ki-l morale.
"Or maybe a fantasy exec league? That could be fun - although I suspect most leaders would be surprised out how little they are valued by their employees"
Some dude really thinks this matters to the 'leaders'. That's some funny stuff

Hello Re-Org, my old friend
I've come to talk to you again
Because of a vision, crumbling
Came to me while I was sleeping
And the vision, of what was once
Has left my brain, It's so insane,
It's the sound, of layoffs.........
What would management do if we starting turning this into a betting pool? Put big boards up where you can place bets and then the winner.
Or maybe a fantasy exec league? That could be fun - although I suspect most leaders would be surprised out how little they are valued by their employees when employees show their results ….
Deck chairs on the Titanic. All good employees who actually care about customers and safety are being cast aside for those employees who know how to play the game and su-k up to management. I'm just waiting for another major incident to hit the news where there are fatalities. It's coming...
