Thread regarding Dell Inc. layoffs

Can anyone confirm bonuses weren't funded at 100%

I heard from several people the IBP was not funded at 110% forcing managers to already put people's individual modifier below 100% if they wanted anyone on the team at 100.

  1. e. The bonus "pot" was more like 95% not 110%. So if a manger wanted to give one person 100% personal modifier they would be forced to lower someone else's significantly below 100% to make the gap.

Any truth here?

Anyone was was remote should not of got 100% of the bonus, you got the rest of your bonus by saving money on gas, saving money on child care and getting paid to clean your house, do laundry, run errands... etc... while on company time.

So corporately they announce a 110% payout, but only funded it at 90%?

Round Rock I9 Here - I got 3% raise and 100% bonus but no LTI this year. That makes 2 years in a row no LTI but they said rules may change for next year.

Remote here - got 100%
My compensation plan has the bonus included in it. I assume many have the same pay structure.

Remote, former remote, hybrid, former hybrid, part timers, WFH...whatever you want to call them all get their bonuses by being able to attend to personal matters at home while on company time during the work day. They should not get any additional financial compensation. Dell should be looking to recoup some of these stolen funds

"Remote employees and former remotes didn't get bonuses thus cycle."

This former remote got a 110% bonus, but I can confirm more than one member of my team got 90% or less.

Confirmed, and hard merit enforced. 75 is the new 100

Each manager gets a pool of money equating to 100% bonus for the entire team. To give someone on the team 110%, the manager must necessarily give other people less to keep within the overall spend envelope. And managers are directed to give less that 100% to their lowest ranked team members

Yes -- 40% of organizations had to be 90% payouts only.
