There are still far far too many middle managers and coordinators in Shell that only distract people from their work.
they just required all managers in IT all the way up to JG2 to write 50% time to projects so i assume this wouldn’t matter for them since it basically already happened
they also made JG3 managers which need 100% time called “tech leads”
If you mean laying off middling managers then you’re implying the EC needs to go. How about a generous 15 minutes to pack up the desk (ski holiday pics, Best Boss Ever plaques, etc. into a pasteboard box) and $25k severance?

Shell should reduce numbers of JG1 and 2 to avoid politics in the company,
