Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

layoffs this week

Well folks, it's that time again. The company has decided to "streamline" its workforce, which, if we're being honest, just means they're giving us all an unexpected vacation from the 9-5 grind. Who needs job security when you can have uncertainty?

Get ready to say goodbye to those pointless meetings, endless emails, and the ever-present dread of your boss’s micromanagement. This week’s layoffs are basically a “get out of work free” card. Just think of it as a surprise opportunity to reboot your life and explore your long-lost hobbies.

So, if your name comes up, don’t be sad – just consider it a chance to upgrade your "doing nothing" skills. And if it’s not you? Well, you still get to enjoy the drama and free coffee in the break room while watching the show unfold.

Good luck, and may the severance pay be ever in your favor.

The ones who worked for Fiserv for six years?

2 weeks for every year of service. Maximum of 26 weeks. (*Fiserv can change the policy at any time)

People only received 12 weeks severance last layoffs for US employees. At least the ones I knew

But that means the six month vacation is coming to an end for the people let go in September.

March is a great time to be let go. With six months severance you have the whole summer freed up. Plenty of time for extended vacations.

BH site should be the first to go. That site is a total sh!t hole. Cramming people like sardines, parking is an absolute joke.

If they pay severance they don't have to give WARN notice. That's how Fiserv didn't have any WARN notice back in September

Berkeley heights is safe for now. You can check the WARN notices for NJ. Fiserv is required by law to let us know as we have 3000+ people in the office.

What kind of bullsh*t is this post. It’s so useless! Why not just be more straight forward to the point instead of having people worry about their job? Is this EMEA based or U.S based and what exactly is the criteria they are cutting people based on?
