Fully agree. Those geniuses at the top are very infantile as they just copy/pasting monkey style what other companies do. They should start behaving as adults themselves first.

Definitely didn't comply with what they wanted since what they wanted was for me to quit. Coffee badging is more about making the job work for me and my family. Dell will lay me off when they can, and from my data point the time I spend in office isn't a metric they care about past the badge data.

I just have heard a lot of people fear mongering even since last year that they're tracking time on network, and that doesn't seem to factor in since I don't even bring my laptop with me.

What makes you so special? Do you think you earned a gold star for complying? But did you really do what was required by MD and his cohorts? I think you did not.

You did prove though that Dell is not tracking time in the office which would suggest everyone should follow this good boy formula.

OP here. Totally agree. I dont know how to spin wasting an hour and a half of my life driving without sounding like HR is in the room. I just know a lot of people are trying to find the good boy formula, and for me it was NOT time in office
