Thread regarding HP (Hewlett-Packard) layoffs

Rancho Bernardo Closure

I'm now hearing that HP is closing its Rancho Bernardo office now, instead of in October as previously planned-and is simultaneously laying off any employees who refuse to relocate to the company's other office in the Bay Area. Can anyone confirm?

"Weren't they supposed to open a small satellite office in SD to host the ink lab and a web press?"

I only know of 100 people who were moved to the new ink lab in SD as you mentioned. I have no idea about the fate of the the rest of employees. Some were in limbo until October 2025 unless HP shuts everything down immediately.

"Move to the Bay Area - read: Fire yourself."

You just proved that you don't know your fat a** from a hole in the ground. Why would I follow your advise?
