TPM is basically a project manager, with nowhere to grow past senior level other than eventually move to eng or PM and learn substantial technical or business skills. Agree?

With Microsoft agents every PM that doesn't actually know about what they are overseeing is pointless. If the job is scheduling meetings, following up on deliverables, or taking notes it's going to be gone in the next 2 years. Not saying all PMs, if you actually contribute with knowledge, there's a place for that.
It's just we're putting new coversheets on all the TPS reports before they go out now. Ask Bill Lumbergh.
TPM's are more of SVP's reporting to SVP's or D's reporting to D's.
