If you're willing to share, that'd be amazing. Did they give a reason? How much time did you have to pack up? Is severance set in stone? Did anyone manage to get a recommendation letter?

"CCF" was shutdown on 2020 when small cell and fiber created network. There is not Crown Castle Fiber and hasn't been for years.

This next round will be the biggest of all. CCF has too many people in redundant roles that are pointless.
Now’s a good time for the 40-50 yr old CCF staff to go back to school and gain some additional qualifications. Those over 60, it is probably time to hit retirement.
No reason. Got severance. Got new job. Currently living happily ever after.

No reason. With Crown 17 years. No recommendation letter. I “prepared” just in case so I took all belongings home prior to “the call”. I didn’t have much as I never like to bring personal stuff to the office for this reason. Just turned in computer the next day, but was turned away by security. They acted like they had no idea who we were and wouldn’t let us in the door. So we sent back the laptop via FedEx from IT.
