I’m starting to believe the rumors about possibly shifting back to a 3-day model are true. It’s been mismanaged, rushed, unnecessary, and, without a doubt, detrimental to employees, productivity, and morale. I can’t help but wonder how many people left or were forced out because of the RTO. Hopefully, the attrition rate isn’t anywhere near what they were hoping for.

On buses and trains there are legal limits as to how many people may be on board. Are there any such regulations that apply to buildings?
Next mandate they are going to ask for a hall pass when you go to the restroom.
Time in office wil not be monitored
Dell’s new policy requiring employees to be in the office for a full eight-hour workday is going to be a major blow to morale. For years, employees have successfully worked remotely, delivering strong results without the unnecessary burden of a commute. Now, forcing people into the office for an arbitrary time requirement—without assigned seating or any real justification—is going to make people miserable. Productivity won’t improve, but frustration and attrition certainly will. Dell risks losing some of its best talent simply because leadership is prioritizing optics over outcomes.
8 hours mandatory
RTO has been a complete joke..3-4 people doing customer calls out of a small conference room because of lack ọf desk...already several customer complaints due to noise and not so business like behavior in the background...these id--ts are burning it to the ground..maybe thats the plan..
"They have like 2 facilities people left in RR. No one can fix it."
Dell must like you guys. That's 2 more facilities people than we have at my local office. We had to beg to get them to hire a single janitor, and the lone ice machine in the building was taken away because Dell wasn't paying the lease on it.
RR1 smells like A**
Was in office 3 days after RTO. Could not focus on anything --- too much noice and distraction. Did not mention 2 hours commute each day.
Completely unnecessary.
I was switched from remote back to my local office even though I am more than an hour away. Then I was told they don't have a desk for me so to stay home.
I am no longer remote but I can't go into the office either.
Sh-t show, how apt! The hygiene of the toilets in Glasgow (UK) office are deplorable.
Just stay at home and see what happens. Life is too short
They have like 2 facilities people left in RR. No one can fix it.
Bring the picnic tables in!
Get your 40 hours in 3 days and work the other 2 days from home
I just don't see it happening, but I also know there are certain offices that are over capacity with local employees told to stay home. I wonder if for those offices, they may go to three days if they can't expand.
not a chance. not a chance.
they will rearrange the floor to sit people picnic style
