These things “weren’t part of the strategy.” So they got ignored. And now the company and its employees will pay the price.

Some management teams at adidas have been able to keep the impact of their ineptitude within company walls - clearly not this team. This will just double the pain felt by employees, as investors are not likely to be kind, especially in this macro-economic environment.
