Thread regarding Phillips 66 layoffs

Attrition

Now that the layoffs are over for now and it’s so close to end of the year, the rate of attrition will really slow down until the VCIP announcement. After that I look for the rate to skyrocket.

I’ll be 55 next month so I will make it. I’m sure they’ll get me next time. I really want to go then but if I can hold out until I’m laid off, the severance would be a big help. I’m hoping I can get some kind of job for the insurance.

People are speculating the same thing in my group. Double digit attrition this last year, followed by hundreds more laid off now. No mid-year COL adjustment. If the job market is healthy in March, look for P66 to hemorrhage hundreds more in good talent.
