Yes, trigger warning-political post. I’m assuming the ongoing efforts to privatize VA and potentially move Medicare to pure MA coverage will benefit UNH. Wxtty didn’t think he was wasting money heading to FL to lobby trxmp with a million dollar gift, and Dr Oz owns a significant amount of UHG stock. Mark my words - this is a stock play. Could keep some folks employed if it comes to pass!

Optum and UNH have huge, huge government contracts and have for years under the name of OptumServe and here's the link where you can read up. They pretty much run the consulting at CMS with Optumserve Lewin which they bought in 2007.
