Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

Why Lip Bu Tan leading hierarchy of CEO ???

In the Yeary's letter it was mentioned - Michelle will continue to serve as CEO of Intel Products and Dave will return to his full-time role as CFO, both reporting to Lip-Bu.
Does this mean there will be new CEO for Intel Foundry ??

Unless the intention is to spin off, why bother to have more hierarchy? It does not look good to chase efficiency with more redundancy.

I really hope Naga would be elevated to this position, or someone of his caliber. We need about 5 more leaders like him replacing the old guard.

Look at Thomas Caulfield did with Globalfoundries. He is terrible. This would be very very bad.

Thomas Caulfield to lead IFS. Glofo merges with IFS. IFS builds leading node, Glofo takes over later as trailing node.
