CSG and ISG to split?

Nevermind RTO! The rumour in the mill is that Michael is looking to spin out ISG from CSG. Shame the stock price has tanked, he'll probably wait until Trump's economic experiments have been reversed. But watch this space!

What does that mean? CSG and ISG are already separate BU, unless you're talking about moving one out from JC (which is never going to happen). Sounds like a really lame attempt to start a rumor from someone who has no idea how Dell is structured

that wasn't the message in the Town Hall yesterday. They couldn't toot that ho-n any louder. All seems like rainbows and unicorns after leaving that meeting.

“ The storage portfolio is to big. Dell will keep the most profitable products and ditch the rest. Reckon they will keep Powerstore and Powerscale.”

They want to get rid of powerStore and PowerScale is no longer competitive with VAST or Weka. We can thank Travis for that

Which one of them is responsible for APEX?

APEX 1? Or APEX 2?

They failed two times massively at the same thing after an expensive rewrite.

MD needs CSG to pay for the negative margin "AI" servers.

As long as accountability is denied by VPs and Sr. Dir, the lower ranks will be laid off for their bad decisions. Case in point Infrastructure blocks Telco. Why is the VP Pdm and his crony executive team still allowed to hide in AI org when they have failed to produce 99% of their revenue commitments ?They have made bad decisions for 8 yrs and everyone has paid the price except for these decision makers.

Lies…….

As of March 2025, Dell Technologies has not announced any plans to spin off or separate its PC and server businesses. The company continues to operate these divisions under its unified corporate structure.

haha, trumps economic recession/depression along with tariffs on countries that dell uses to supply/build should be your real worry because at this rate most of you won't be gainfully employed much longer

Get ready for more off-loading to unwanted product lines to HCL. That is what they do send to to HCL and wipe their hands of it.

I predict that a few ISG products will remain with Dell, all the rest will be sold off as a job-lot. Anyone care to predict which ones will remain with Dell?
