The hole has long been known for its nasty backstabbing management and their clique of lickspittles and hangers-on, and has no regard for those that actually do the work.
Worked for them for over 40 years plus and retired few months ago. I have seen the decline as we have had of the last 2 years loose personel to get a higher paying job working from home. Sadly you cannot reach most of these people when needed. Collins is sliding down as they have paid people to stay at home with a raise. I can name 10 people in a small shop under 200 people who went home to do nothing and got a raise and are still collecting. How can you stay in business. Glad I retired when I did.
Most tex trade workers today don't last much beyond age 45-50. It is no longer a respectable or dependable livelihood -- much of it has been offshored to foreign sweatshops.
