There’s so much MANUAL WORK going on in finance, we could cut out 90% of the people with proper systems in place

The wa-kery in finance (well, technically GBO) was absurd. It was a whole team mobilized around hassling sales for deal updates for SFDC opportunities to pass up the chain. Nobody would acknowledge the absurdity of constantly trying to “pull deals in” to hit arbitrary fiscal week or quarter cutoffs. I did real stuff in finance a decade ago, and that was just neutered over time. Be careful Dell folks. The Dell version of finance is increasingly out of touch with the market and valued skills.
Are we sure we don’t currently have the right systems but just don’t know how to use them? Who has the manuals for our processing systems?
I use a manual pencil sharpener to go along with my red stapler.
I was told I can play my radio at a reasonable volume.
lmao, source?
