Anybody have any idea how many total managers we have? (out of ~100k employees) I know in product side there are way too many managers, I'm not sure if fab is like that also.

We don’t need 5+ levels management layer! It just help reduce transparency and destroy culture
Without program and project managers the rest of you lazy incompetent slobs would not actually ever deliver anything
How dare you! They deserve our worship and praises! Those are the folks steering the ship! They are making the smart choices and got Intel to where it is today.
Fire the managers and replace with with the Fellows and PEs. Then hold them accountable.
On average, 7 employees per manager. So around 12k to 13k managers exist at Intel.
They get paid a lot of money to never have 1:1 and just hand you a letter once a year showing you how much you got sc--wed.
90% less soon. Rumor is Tan will be clawing back benefits from these flunkeys and has the board onside, will be going the legal route at all the incompetents.
11864 managers shown on workers directory
@ax g-d willing, ATA is a big hot steaming pile of s. Too many people managers with zero programming skills
The ATA (automation) has a group containing all program managers, without a single developer. This group need to be cut.
20k managers
@2 mailed it. Let’s make Intel a company of entirely engineers. I’m sure no one will argue and tut-tut the day away without getting a single sellable thing done.
Ineffective over-analysis and half-assed over-engineered by over-confident engineers isn’t at all part of Intel’s DNA. Intel would be winning the world if only the Foundry could make its designs. 🙄
He should probably shut the fak up.
The ratio of managers to employees was about 18-20% in 2023-2024.
I didn't even know Senior Fellow was a thing lmao. Do we have a "Really Senior Fellow" title as well? Good lord
Also, too many good for nothing PEs, Senior PEs, Fellows, Senior Fellows doing grade 8 or 9 work! They can't find any other company job outside Intel and so they just just hang around and collect $400K+ compensation
Fab is as bad as it gets. When managers are mobile due to lack of cubicles, this is telling.
Too many. You add Program and Project Management to that list it is a lot. All paper movers, status update people, do nothing and take credit for others people
