@a8+1 Be interesting to see if he restructures the board, and he previously left because he felt that much more headcount needed to be RIF'd

Time will tell but my impression is that he will break up the company and right-size it in the process, and that those who have been trying to keep the conglomerate will be the first to go.

I think he will unleash a lot of price discovery in the stock in the process.

He wanted to break up the company and this fits with TSMC discussing the IFS JV

Expect major restructuring and elimination of pointless projects and groups.

He will be 66 years old this year. No matter the mission of ruining lives, it will be a short mission. He can only stay on long enough to either destroy the company by taking it apart, or fulfilling Pat's strategy. He isn't a 5 year guy. Maybe 2-3 years. I am not surprised this board was so short sighted. However, I am very pleased that it isn't the guy from Global Foundries. What a joke he is.

All the lazy F’s are toast, it’ll be worse than TSMC. It’ll be worse than Musk, lol. GL.

The main reason he was chosen is that Intel will be dramatically re-organized or broken up to realize value.
