So what happens to folks who relocated away from the office and live too far to come swipe their badge for performative purposes?
Asking for a friend who is on a team where 60% of people can’t make it to an office. Hopefully that’s some semblance of job security for him thru the next round.
Who would show up to work for a company that can’t even find someone to run it? What are you doing? What’s the direction? The strategy?
I’m calling the bluff. They can pay me unemployment if that’s what they’d rather do.
I don’t need to come to an office to be seen doing meaningless work for a company that doesn’t even exist. Unless they can somehow make doing inconsequential work in an office better than not doing inconsequential work from home with my d1-k out.
