Nothing is confirmed. Nobody is talking. And if someone says, they know or they had to submit "this" or "that" for that RIF then don't listen. They are just stirring the pot. Will there be more, yes. When? NOBODY KNOWS!!!
Just look up on instagram optum India and you’ll see all the training they’re doing and that will give you your answer of who’s next. These Indians are loving the job market right now. Soon they will be answering all the calls etc. !!!

Last year on April 18, 2024, ~20k were laid off across the entire company. Last year's yearly goal was 10% RIF. RIF: Reduction In Force. I tracked layoffs on this site since 2017 & 2024 was by far the largest year for layoffs.
These numbers are sometimes mentioned in the annual earnings call in January.
2023: 440,000 employees: Max number ever reached
2024: 400,000 employees: 1st year the number of employees went below max
Some of that 40k reduction was by attrition.

Confirmed. Those rated 2 are likely to be on the RIF list.
The pattern has been large RIF's every 3 months around mid month. There is a high probability that the next one will be in April.
It's usually the Thursday after the earnings call.
