With all the news I feel like this is our last hope. Is it gonna be good enough to keep the company alive?

Intel has to use 18A for its own product, otherwise, no customers will believe it. It takes multiple years from test to production, no customers will risk their fate.
Right now Intel's advanced chips are out-sourced and manufactured by TSMC.
Intel is losing capability to manufacture its own chips.

Any product! If Intel makes its own products and only sells what they already sell, they are 3X AMD. They are already getting finances back in check as measured by slowing down Ohio. 18A is a big deal because it is the leading node for several high visibility products. Even if it was only modestly better than TSMC 3(whatever), it still will be vastly cheaper than using TSMC to build it.
Intel will be fine if the BoD leaves it alone.
Thank Pat
If it is any good and on track Intel will praise their success loudly and will bullsh-t about other companies again. If they keep it quietly then there are serious problems going on inside or they will pretend to bowl down and beg anyone to try it for free to gain some experiences
18A is on track.
On track to lose billions since it seems Intel is the only one interested and only 70% on Intel factories. The other 30% goes to TSMC.
Technology is behind TSMC.
Who’s going to risk their bread and butter on this mediocrity? Even Intel isn’t going all in there.
No one is buying that sh-t besides schlomo shekelstone
Here's a serious question. Let's say 18a is crack on perfect. Exactly what company saving winning product will they manufacture with it ?
Do you hear Intel talking about it internally the answer to that is no if it was good don’t you think they would be talking about it? What does that tell you
Yes, its on track.
