Didn’t expect to be this many, all these layoffs and I still have nothing to do on a daily basis lol. Just resting and vesting.

brutally honest and transparent on what was going to happen.

Point being he enjoys pi----g on graves, a terrible person.

Hock is gonna smash. Doesn’t mean he isn’t a total choade as well.

Why is this a surprise to anyone?

Hock was pretty clear on this right from the outset, it was one of the ‘levers’ in the PowerPoint presentation that showed how he was going to achieve that EBITDA target.

Whatever you want to say about the guy he was brutally honest and transparent on what was going to happen.

If you stayed and weren’t RIF’d enjoy the quarterly RSU pump as long as you’re able, accept it for what it is. VMW as you knew it is gone so move on, play the game.

Best kept secret in tech if you ask me.

$80 billion acquisition - press didn’t care

Now after more than a year there is one press article on layoffs. Horray!

If these layoffs were happening to any company in the mag 7, every dozen or so who get laid off is a full op Ed in the press.

Amazing to see this in action.

Now how about reporting that he thinks software devs are not hard workers and produce air as compared to their hardware colleagues.

What a terrible human being HT is. But no one cares. He makes $ and if you are lucky, you may make some as well before you are deleted from a spreadsheet and fired with prejudice. Ya know, just to make you feel worse and reinforce that you are a tool to be used and disposed off, cause why not be a total a hole?

Where were you? HT already said that there were 16000 VMware people in last year's coffee talk. Were you laid off already?
