Optum/UNH peeps....being RIF'd....here's where your budget is going...

Folks...you're being tossed out the door for multiple reasons...but it's not all off shoring.

This weekend, Optum is lead sponsor for The Player's Championship on the PGA tour. Go look up how much that is costing the company....you should be crazy angry at the very lame Optum marketing team!!

Oh, and dimWitty paid $1 million to pay to go the FLA and kiss the ring of Trump and beg for forgiveness over the last few weeks.

So, how many domestically based jobs are just these two actions costing good folks their gig and creating financial hardship, stress, sadness and anger with now former employees.

We all should shutter as to all the other "marketing investments" that are made by the "haves" marketing team that are costing so many other folks their job.

So, so sad...the only modest reward for us laid off minions is to see UNH stock being crushed...all to the chagrin of the UNH leadership team...especially you, Andy!!

As a former member of the Optum/UHC marketing team, while I’m not defending the company, it’s usually market presidents and higher-ups who push sponsorships like the Rory one. The marketers I worked with are smart and understood the value of what they were investing in, but sometimes it’s just not worth the fight against the egos of the “bigwigs” at the top who want to see their company name when watching/playing golf and wasting time/money.

Bring Elon Musk in to drain the UHG swamp.

Andrew witty stop browsing this board and fix the company and pay your employees a good wage stop offshoring too that’s a sinking ship you will end up drowning in in the next few years

Give it a rest its not a charity its a job. They owe you nothing go work somewhere else with your plethora of skills. Marketing is a good investment since decision makers that are potential buyers of services like golf so you get face time. golf and insurance go hand in hand
