I have worked for Lowe’s long time and credit is a daily thing. But have you ever said what is in this for me. Sometimes a small bonus for getting a few cards. What would happen if all employees said no compensation no cards. I think it would be fair if everyone received 3 percent of each card that they attained for every month’s interest payment. After all we have one the highest interest on a credit card. Think about it .
Lowe’s Credit Card interest rate is what the Mob Loan Sharks used to charge! Synchrony is the worst credit card issuer out there. PURE CROOKS!!!

The sh-t show will never end apparently…. Anyone that is “credit worthy” already has other means to purchase versus opening a Lowe’s card at that ridiculous interest rate. I’ve been gone from there for 3 years after 19 years of service and really hoped to see a change, clearly not the case.
I thought this was a layoff for Credit associates at corporate. Lol.
The interest rate is 32%. F that. I didn't sign up for this job to financially sc--w consumers, and get to berated every day by the credit ge----o. Toxic environment!
I was lucky during my 21 years with the company (retired last year).
Local management never bugged me about pushing credit.
and what is the interest rate? Last I saw was 30.99. I was told Lowes wants customers to us Lowes credits because banks charge them when customers use debit or other credit cards.
