Optum ISNP is threatening to fire their Sales staff for not hitting at least 30 enrollments each month. “Model office” they call it. What a joke! They presented us with a beautiful deck showing us the path to termination. First off it’s illegal to have goals on enrollments for insurance, and second stop blaming the sales people when nobody wants to enroll in a United Healthcare plan because of the companies illegal and horrible practices in the marketplace. I am so done with this place.

This is true. If you don’t make your goal, you’re placed on a corrective action plan and then they let you go. They set unrealistic targets and then blame staff .
lol compromise your ethics by still collecting a paycheck.
If by su-k at my job you mean I won’t compromise on my ethics and refuse to take face sheets or enroll people using lies then yes I guess I su-k at my job. There it is problem solved
So you su-k at your job is what you are telling us?
Support? Leadership? Solutions to problems? Realistic expectations? You know the stuff you get at healthy companies who know how to run their business.
It's a sales job. Not sure what you were expecting.
A prime example of the “under qualified; DEI leadership” at Optum has joined the conversation. Why don’t you take a stroll over to CMS and view Medicare marketing guidelines. Thank me later for helping to train you to do your job. You’re welcome!
No, it's not illegal to have enrollment goals. Get a clue.
No truer words shared than what is in this post....thank you for saying what we all know!
I wonder how much longer till ISNP sunsets like IESNP did
