There is hope that some leave after the bonus and they do not like RTO. Once the dust settles then the second week in April will be a luanch for more to get a pink slip. And if you are not badging in your sc--wed...

New Fiscal Year, new body count.
I think the RTO soft layoff will go into full effect after bonuses go out next week. I know a dozen people with jobs lined up just waiting for the bonus before they walk.

We work at Dell. Layoffs are continuous and never ending. It is the only way they know how to run the company.
Sales non-existent due to horrible product decisions, answer layoff employees. Products that are being developed that no customer wants or needs, answer layoff employees.
Spreadsheets with the lists are all being filed and processed by HR.
Terrible company
Anyone not tracking to 50% by end of Q1 will be pipped. End of Q2 without any improvement, you will be walked, with no package.

I have two AI certs from MIT continuing Ed, one in managing AI projects and one for development, I passed the joke of a foundation exam, advise on two AI projects, yet I’m not officially working in AI. In the past year I have applied to six AI related positions. Only one interview with a hiring manager’s screening committee
I wonder if my gray hair has something to do with it? Na, Dell culture prohibits discrimination of any kind.

The older product will be going away soon.... if you want to keep your job get one related to AI that is the future of the company.
