DOGE is coming after CMS spending. The Stars program is low-hanging fruit with spending of about $10 billion annually and limited evidence of effectiveness as per a recent JAMA article. If you are working in the Medicare Stars arena, get your resumes ready or you might want to think about getting out before the ball drops and the job market is flooded with X-Stars employees.

DOGE is going after fraud, waste and abuse. Not valid payments.
Except Congress approved all his appointees. Congress won't do anything. They impeached him. He's a convicted criminal.
It has to go through the courts system.
In the meantime, watch the southwest, rural and religious communities.
I think we only have 60 more days of this. They are burning a lot of candle on this and at some point congress will say..ok your done. Were in control
Remember hes a lame duck.
More stars = more money. Medicare Advantage plans with higher star ratings (4 stars or more) receive bonus payments, which they are required to use to offer additional benefits to enrollees, such as vision, hearing, or dental coverage, or to reduce cost-sharing.
Both Stars and Hedis are BS. Ask an average Medicare or Medicaid person what they care about and it's how much their dr-gs cost and if their doctor or hospital is in network.
At least United Health was able to milk it while it lasted. What did Aetna do?
They should, the fraud and abuse in Medicare/Medicaid is out of control. It needs to be managed.
I love hearing my tax dollars contribute to 100 Billion + in annual Medicaid/Medicare fraud.
This is where these 90,000 IRS agents hired over the last couple years should be deployed... "CMS Fraud Agents"
