Take a look at the fine print. Looks like employees will only get paid the extra $5 from midnight until the wee hours of the morning, NOT their entire shift. Does anyone remember the first Thanksgiving that Macy's was open? The extra pay was only for hours worked ON Thanksgiving- not the hours that technically were Black Friday hours which began Thursday at midnight. Only do the hours if the extra money is worth the damage to your mental and physical health. This inventory will be bad. Bad with a capital "B".

No survey in my store yet
The reference is to an earlier posting about the "inventory survey" on insite, in which the company says those who commit to working overnights for inventory will get an extra $5 an hour. The poster is correct- BE VERY WARY and read the fine print concerning the survey which is purposely vague.
