Musk does not care about Twitter (he is super rich) He wants the platform from now until after 2024 election. Then it will be gone (or like Yahoo, just a has been but still around). Innovation is dead as all devs should stop real work and start looking for next gig.

If I were Elon, the first thing I would do is bring in my own trusted programmers, engineers and replace most of twitters staff as quickly as possible.
Face it there are most likely people that will or are planning to undermine what he will do.
Sure twitter will take some steps back, but best for the long run. I just hope he gives individual users choices to block what they don’t wish to engage with. Be able to block political parties, candidates people or subjects. Some users just want to communicate to people without all that junk. Someone may only want to discuss baseball, others may only want football….
Some may not want any sports and will only discuss their kids.
Right now Twitter is a free for all. It’s a mess.
