Thread regarding Dell Inc. layoffs

Sell RSUs immediately or keep them?

What are others planning to do with their tranche of vesting shares?

Curious as to why you say sell immediately? The entire market is in a dip

Always sell immediately

Vested shares are free money (less the taxes). I would always sell the first minute I could. Holding them means you believe in the company as you are now an investor. So if you do not believe in the company, just sell. But take 50% of the profits and put into a CD that you can cash in next April, because they never withhold enough.

If you need the money now, sell. Otherwise I would hold.

This mess of an economy is 100% on Biden, but Trump is going to make it exponentially worse.

Selling and keeping in cash

I’ve got enough in the market already. Want cash on the sidelines for if/when the Trump
recession hits

(in before the MAGA bootlickers say this is on Biden)
