Resigned this week after 16 years. Scary changing job after so long but the feeling of dred has gone. I'm a single point of failure and feel sorry for what's left of my colleagues but looking forward to 2 days in the office and 50% increase wages.

When I was home, I worked more hours. Back in the office, fewer hours and more chatting with the team. Probably better team spirit, but I don't see how that helps the bottom line.

The office is so god damn loud it’s ridiculous. I can’t hear myself think half the time. The egregious open floor plans in MKE is crazy. I hear 9 different conversations going on besides my own call. Clients won’t stop complaining. I don’t work in call center so wtf.

This place is an utter circus. Why be in person when everyone uses Teams regardless if they’re in the same f’n building because of Sapience? Literally the exact opposite of what they proclaim that we are better together. Training new team members? Let’s get on teams instead of just rolling over to help in person. GTFOH.

I have zero intentions of staying here much longer. The stupidity of Fiserv has reached an absurd level that nobody pre-merger could have fathomed. We are way too talented for this absolute dumpster fire.

This place is horrendous. I’m out as soon as I can find another job.

Since they want to claw us back to the 1990s, leave your laptops in office. Do your 9 hours 5 days per week in office and leave work at work. Reclaim your evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays. Use the productivity tools that are available to us to become more productive and get more done within the 9 hours. If their draconian measures reduces overall productivity, then so be it. Let the layoffs happen enjoy your unemployment for 6 months while you look for a new job and recuperate. Be sure to maintain your company and product knowledge to take to their competitors when Fiserv's draconian measures drive you out the door.

Question to my friends that have to work maintenance windows. If you work from midnight to say 4am from home are you still required to do 9 hours in office the next day? If so that is total BS. Do you do maintenance windows from the office to get those hours to count?

When was the last time anyone had a meeting in a conference room? Even if we did most people we collaborate with are in other locations. How is this better together? All of our conference rooms have been outfitted with av for teams meetings. No difference if you sit at your desk at home vs a table at a Fiserv office. You are chained by Sapience either way.

Funny Sapience story: I manage a team of about 15 people who are in office. I am 100% remote. When I look at my workday analytics bullsh@tery for my team, it says I have only been in the office 2% of the time.
I have been in an office ZERO percent of the time. Where did they come up with 2%? I don't even have a badge. The whole thing is just a big joke. ZERO PERCENT!

Based on “data” showing were better together. Never mind it’s Sapience data which is chronically inaccurate. Only an America do we go back to 1995 after proving WFH was a success for 3 years. FU Frank, way to be a “trendsetter” you overrated hack.

My productivity has dropped ever since we went 4 days in office. I can't get sh-t done being on site all week. Too many distractions, too many people not doing any work. WTF.

Welcome back to the world. Most of us have never experienced WFH. You alone will help prove we don't need help from India or the Philippines at much cheaper prices for a few months anyway.
