I am from Illinois and go to the Chicago area not very often. There are actually a good amount of Macy’s stores in the area from what I’ve seen. What are the best Macy’s stores here? My local store doesn’t is not the best so it would be fun to see the comparison haha. I know that a lot of them are former Marshall Field’s stores. I’m not all that familiar with the Chicago area as I don’t go there often. It would be very helpful to hear some recommendations of malls or Macys to go check out.

Aside from the original Marshall Field’s flagship store on State Street, the 3 better best Macy’s (As it was with Field’s) located in malls were Oak Brook, Old Orchard & Woodfield.
The flagship downtown, State Street, is a great one to see. It’s not a mall but the store alone is HUGE.
Woodfield Mall
Orland square mall has always been a personal favorite
Fox valley Mall as well
Both have large high volume
Macys
Old Orchard is the best IMO
