March is between sales, seasons, dangerous time to be at corporate Nordstrom. I was laid off nine years ago this coming week. I wonder how many of my old chums are still there. Wish you well, good luck this deadly week.

I bet you feel glad that you’re not with them anymore. HQ might be moved to TX. Nordstrom stores are thriving in texas. Business is great downhere. Nordstrom will last until 2030 but it will be different, maybe smaller and more racks.

Maybe the Nordstroms are actually wise and very red-pilled. Maybe taking the company private is a strategy to preserve the legacy through the coming events. Musk showed with Twitter that you can get rid of 90% of your staff and be just fine. So there is a chance we’ll have Nordstrom in 2030 and that the family, too, will survive the larger cull and earn the future.
These are extreme terms, most normies and Seattle herd-animals have no clue what is happening in the world, who our enemies really are, and what is already far too late to stop.
If there is a Nordstrom five years out, I will certainly shop there. I hope they are actually aristocratic in the old sense and wise to the dangers and the state of things.
I wonder if anyone is still there, most moved on. It is to the Nordstrom family’s eternal credit that they never forced the jab on their employees. It’s a good question whether Nordstrom will survive the coming storm. I doubt it will exist in 2030, when the long-term consequences are obvious, Seattle is depopulated, etc. Management made the ethical choice under pressure and deserve credit.
You were laid off 9 years ago and still clinging on to the downfall of your old colleagues? Let it go. They let you go 9 years ago for a reason. You were a bad hire and probably never recovered
