I’m sorry for all those employees who will lose their jobs due to corporate shortsightedness and not investing in the Hudson’s Bay Company.

HBC/SaksGlobal is a poorly run business.

Richard Baker is taking a queue from Eddie Lampert of Sears/Kmart and the grandfather of them all Robert Campeau who bought Allied Stores in 1986 and Federated in 1988 only to put both companies in Chapter 11 Bankruptcy in January 1990.

SAKS/NM/BG will be in bankruptcy courtesy of owner Richard Baker.
