Thread regarding Qualcomm Inc. layoffs

Qualcomm strategy

Maybe some people don't, but I still care about this company and my job here.
Lets have a sincere discussion about this: do you think that the company's strategy is wrong or not, and what are the biggest strategy mistakes made by Q in your opinion?

Moving jobs to India is not a good long term strategy, especially when you are not prepared to pay for the more experienced workers with proven skill sets.

NOT acquiring ARM when they had the chance. Instead of pursuing NXP and failing.

Also allowing Apple to access source firmware for years was a bad idea.

2024 will be a huge re-structuring year for Q.

China cannot invade Taiwan bc whole international community has acknowledged that Taiwan is a part of China even the US official policy states so. When the US invaded Hawaii a world war didn’t break out and a world war will not break out if Taiwan attempts to break off from China…

The stock reflects QCOM's strategic decision to be the Number 1 India company.
The stock and products reflect that.

What would the valuation be if the strategic decision were to be Number 1 US company.

If China invades Taiwan, which happen any time, US semi companies will be decapitated. It will be WW3. Your job is something you don’t have to worry about since you will care about not dying in a nuclear holocaust.

Q’s strategy is working like a gem! But everyone on here is either mentally ill 🤒 or have no idea what Q’s strategy is! Q’s business model is consider illegal across the world except the US and that is bc Q has an enormous amount of influence in US politics. Thus Q’s business model is protected around the world. Even when the world attempted to crush Q’s business model legally by taking over the company in a buyout! Q’s massive political influence was able to obtain presidential assistance in blocking the takeover and keeping a worldwide illegal business model intact.

One strategy mistake was to put all their eggs in the China basket. Luckily Amon is starting to unwind that with IOT/AUTO but if there are any geo political things that happen soon we're fu---d.
