I am hearing rumblings that Boeing is cancelling the Dell IT contract and going "in another direction". Anyone else know anything about this? Take Care.

Wow, alot of ignorant responses. Yes, the contract is being canceled for the 2021 IT Infrastructure services.
You can't cancel a valid contract without paying a big penalty. Boeing doesn't have any money to spare to pay for self inflicted penalties. If anything they won't renew the contract when the current one expires. I know a new contract with Dell was signed in 2020. The question is whether the current contract was for 5 years or 7 years. From what I've been reading WHO does your I.T. support is the LEAST of your current worries !!!! Get back to work and stop mentally masterturbating on things that don't really matter !!!
Probably going with some country in India or Philippines that’s the only ideas they have outsource jobs
Is there any more evidence of this other than this thread?
Also the graphs and charts they seem to apply to our production is total BS. Nothing but lies.
Those execs got big weiners from this cause they make the spreadsheets look good
I also heard this was happening cause of india.
I've confirmed with multiple individuals that Boeing cancelled the Compute contract. It awarded it to a company based out of Atlanta.
Can confirm, its true. I work for Dell.....Mostly its the services section that has been affected, no hardware related changes.
I have not heard anything, but curious to find out. Dell is expensive to deal with.
Nooooooooooo, pleez, I don’t want to deal with Best Buy Geek squad or some garbage subcontractor picked for the cheapest cost. I’d rather just fix my laptop myself.
