Thread regarding Walgreens layoffs

Ya right.....get ready ...Why not mention to the employees anything about jobs?

The Walgreens announcement made no mention of how many of Walgreens' 311,000 workers will remain employed when the sale to Sycamore Partners is completed.

"Sycamore has deep respect for WBA's talented and dedicated team members, and we are committed to stewarding the Company's iconic brands. This transaction reflects our confidence in WBA's pharmacy-led model and essential role in driving better outcomes for patients, customers and communities," Sycamore Partners Managing Director Stefan Kaluzny said.

All will be okay? Then why didn't you take our questions during the town hall? What are you hiding?

Let us face it. They have to keep a minimum number of store employees to run the stores. Corporate and mid-level market leadership will be decimated. No one in corporate is safe, except for Tim, Neal and their do-nothing friends.

You’re a fool if you trust them. Just research their track record.

Pharmacy-led - they will obliterate front-end/retail/corporate, I am guessing.
