Intel is reliant on TSMC

And to be clear, we have roughly 30% of our wafers outsourced today. That is probably a high watermark for us.
But to the extent that I think a year ago, we were talking about trying to get that to zero as quickly as possible. That's no longer the strategy. We think it's always good to have at least some of our wafers with TSMC.

Intel have existing designs validated and running on TSMC. What would be the option... redesign everything, re-tape in, re-PRQ, and require customers to re-validate everything on Intel 18A. On top of that, Intel Products would have to go on a more expensive internal process with lower yields? Get real... stop believing troll articles. If you work an Intel and didn't think this through, you are part of the problem why Intel is failing, and not the solution.

Intel has to rely on TSMC to manufacture Lunar Lake and others. If Intel could not even manufacture for itself, how can it be a foundry for any company?

Yeah, TSMC needs to keep the world supplied with lagging edge nodes. #14A
