Definitely on board with tariffs for companies sending all our work off shore. I’ve been here two decades, used to be proud but now I wont even answer when someone asks where I work. And the offshore people do a horse sh-t job. They don’t follow directions, and they change procedures without getting approval. They will be running the place and we will all be gone- and we can watch what’s left of the company implode. It’s disgusting.

Your title is misleading. They made approximately 30k voluntary buyout offers. That doesn't mean that they plan to lay that many people off. They know only a small percentage of that will accept. If that number doesn't meet what their target is, then they'll make up the difference with layoff. Layoffs do su-k for sure. But fear mongering with your misleading title isn't productive.

Seems like tariffs are needed for US based companies that hire offhsore employees. Write your congressmen and senators. Post @the right people on X. 35k people should be able to make a movement.
