Not sure if this was part of a broader round of layoffs, however I received a meeting invite this morning for a “Mandatory team call” with about 45 minutes of notice. Since my team is small (15 people) I immediately started reviewing the attendees. Sure enough one person was missing, and our manager informed us that this person’s position was eliminated today as part of a reduction in force. In Workforce

Optum fraud division just got notice of a mandatory meeting in a couple hours. Same type of short notice meeting that has been layoff announcements in the past.
