So where are those 14000 layoffs by end of March? Maybe 2000?
It's not just AWS. ALL of Amazon is cull L7 manager's. RTO helps to cull them. Amazon then uses the Focus stick. There is nothing absurd about working from home - get out of your Mom's basement have some kids. RTO is the stupidest thing since sliced bread. Amazon is already hiring at much reduced salaries compared to previous years. Not worth it only to be PIP'd for no reason.
What do you mean by "RTO!". It is hard to believe you are employed at AWS.
I warned all the naive people crying because of this absurd obsession working from home. If could work from home, what does stop an employer from hiring workers at 30% of your salary.
