Thread regarding Charles Schwab Corp. layoffs

How many jobs were outsourced by Schwab

How many jobs were outsourced by Schwab since COVID.

Let's put this together and send it to Trump and DOGE. Instead of creating jobs here Schwab sent most of the jobs offshore.
Before COVID onsite job count, offshore job count
Current onsite job count and offshore job count.

Time to make Schwab Great again!

Ending the dominance of the U.S. dollar in the global economy is a complex challenge, but gradually moving toward a more balanced, multipolar financial system could help address issues like outsourcing, H-1B dependency, and illegal immigration in a more sustainable way. A world where multiple strong currencies share global trade influence would reduce the incentive for corporations to relocate jobs solely based on currency advantages, encouraging investment in local talent and industries. This shift could also lead to a fairer distribution of economic opportunities, reducing economic disparities that drive skilled migration and unauthorized immigration. While the dollar will likely remain a key global currency, fostering alternatives and strengthening regional financial systems could promote more equitable economic growth worldwide

"Innovation by Offshore" best Oxymoron! What buch of bull.

The concept of the Dollar Economy plays a crucial role in global finance. The United States possesses one of the most powerful economic tools—its currency, the US Dollar.

For over 20 years, a relatively cheap dollar has fueled the U.S. technology bo-m, providing a competitive advantage to American companies. However, one may question whether the U.S. would have achieved the same level of progress had this dollar-driven economic advantage not existed.

From the perspective of international markets, the value of 1 US Dollar remains 1 Dollar for American companies, whereas, for Indian businesses, the exchange rate fluctuates above ₹85 and continues to rise. This disparity has significant implications for global trade, investment, and economic policies.

Understanding the export of inflation by the U.S. requires deeper economic insight. Those who have experienced working within the U.S. economy, such as individuals on H-1B visas, gain firsthand knowledge of these economic dynamics.

DE-DOLLARIZE the world and see the impact , so are you ready for that?

It’s cheaper labor that you can’t talk baclass to you or they face deportation, simple as that

Is labor that can't talk back to you or give you honest feedback a good thing?

While it's true that there are many qualified Americans capable of handling these jobs, the decision to use offshore or H1B workers often stems from a need for specialized skills, cost-effectiveness, or the ability to scale quickly. Additionally, certain offshore teams may bring expertise or innovation that is currently lacking domestically. While automation can indeed handle some complex tasks, it’s important to acknowledge that not every job is ready to be automated, and some roles require a human touch or specific skill sets that are more readily available through global talent pools. Choosing to work with offshore teams is often a strategic decision made to meet business needs more efficiently, rather than simply a matter of preference.

Kickbacks to Indian executives and few others, they will outsource everything.

Does this mean that if American executives outsource, it is considered acceptable?.
This decision comes from the top, and my directive is to reduce costs.

Need some MAGA focus on Schwab. I am US citizen impacted by the layoffs. Schwab hired about 2000, yes two thousand more offshore resources during the last two years. The number might be more, half of them can't speak or write proper English and we had to baby sit them yet our fearless leaders went and recruited more from the body mills

  1. No team needs offshore or H1B workers.
  2. There are plenty of Americans that can do these jobs.
  3. Complex jobs can be automated by skilled people already in the country.
  4. It's a choice to do business with offshore people mills.

Methods for Data Acquisition

1 Human Resources Data Extraction

Utilize HR systems to obtain employee information categorized by location and status within the USA.
Generate aggregated metrics that provide a comprehensive overview of the workforce.

2 Contractual Agreement Analysis

Review documents such as Signed Work Agreements (SWA) and Master Service Agreements (MSA) executed by contractors or service providers.
Extract relevant data contained within these agreements.

3 Public Job Postings and Visa Data

Analyze job postings alongside H1B and L1 visa records to determine which companies have filed pertinent documentation.
Assess whether employees have transitioned between roles or companies based on the available data.

4 Social Media and Professional Network Data Mining

Leverage platforms like LinkedIn, Dice, and other social media to extract publicly available data.
Focus on data points including location, organizational affiliation, and employment history (both previous and current).

Legal Considerations

Methods (1) and (2): These involve sensitive information and may constitute serious data leakage. Unauthorized access could result in significant legal ramifications.

Methods (3) and (4): When performed in accordance with legal guidelines, these methods align with data science and artificial intelligence projects that utilize publicly available data.
