Me and others within the team received 30-minute meeting invitations with the director for tomorrow. Other technical staff did not. A premonition of an event was felt by many this week and now this. Inquiry: Are there others receiving invitations for tomorrow?

Yes there were left today in the IT department. You will no longer have any us second level desktop people. We were all let go. And replaced by people in the Philippines that don't know anything about it just how to read a website they have no it skills.

Layoffs seem to always be first week of the pay period so it wouldn’t make sense for tomorrow.
Layoff meetings are scheduled for 15 min and are over after the 5 minute script is read.
No but I wish... a severance package would be nice. Slide outta here with some additional cash and find a place that appreciates you!
